Even though the company establishes main transshipment centres and Mini transshipment centres right from the beginning it is planned to establish Mega transshipment centres at various strategic locations in order to speed up the delivery schedule and to reduce delivery time.
These mega Transshipment centres shall be located at Kancheepuram, Namakkal, Tumkur, Hospet, Thrissur, Nagpur, Surat, Pune, Belgaum, Bulandshahr, Hyderabad, Mednapore, Gwalior, Meerut, Ranchi, Ahmadabad, Indore, Jullundur, Chitradurga, Ambala, Kurnool, Jabalpur, Gorakhpur, and Asansol .
These parks shall provide the facilities for systematic transshipment for company’s 1600 trucks plying long distances known as Grant trunk Expresses, which crisscross day and night along the length and breadth of the country.
The Parks shall have crew rest room, crew changing facility, fleet maintenance center, etc.,
